Keep thinking of this song often since my mother died in late March. She lost a 4 year battle with cancer…and I had to watch her struggling on her last day alive. She kept crying, from a combination of pain and fear…and after she died, I kept thinking of that line. “Hey, you don’t have to cry anymore…” It’s true Mum. You don’t have to cry anymore. You’re out of your pain and suffering…you can sleep now. ❤️ Rest in Peace.

I've never understood why Roger Taylor is never included in any list of greatest drummers. I'm a musical illiterate but those friends who understand the finer points seem pretty universal in his praise. For my part I just reckon you can't have a supergroup with a merely "good" drummer.

This beautifull song here is not a full version, Paul skips some first important verses they do sing in the album version. How actuall this song now for our country Ukraine! When I listened to this song back in 2021 I thought it wasn't relevant, because what kind of war could there be under Kovid? Turns out this song is much more relevant than it might have seemed at the time, before Russia's nefarious invasion of our country of Ukraine.

Here we are 15 years later and he can't play like this anymore. Still touring, but he has a second drummer doing most of the work now. 40s, 50s...even the 60s can be managed...but when you get up over 70 years old things certainly change. It actually makes me a bit sad having been a huge Queen fan since 1975.
